Short Summary
NamazWaqt uses location, notifications, device sensors, local storage, and advertising services only to provide app features such as prayer times, Qibla direction, azan reminders, Quran bookmarks, and ad-supported access.
We do not run user accounts, do not operate a backend for personal profiles, and do not sell your personal information.
1. Information We Use
Location
With your permission, the app uses your approximate/current GPS coordinates to calculate accurate prayer times, monthly prayer calendar times, Qibla direction, and distance to Makkah.
The app stores the last selected or detected location on your device so prayer times can load quickly and work when offline. Location is not sold by us.
Local Preferences
The app stores settings locally on your device, including calculation method, fiqh/madhab selection, manual prayer-time offsets, azan settings, Quran bookmarks and last-read position, Tasbih counts, selected Quran translation language, and ad-free reward state.
Sensors
The Qibla compass may use device sensors such as magnetometer, accelerometer, or rotation vector to estimate heading. These readings are used for the compass experience and are not stored as personal profiles by us.
2. Advertising
NamazWaqt uses Google AdMob to show ads. Google and its partners may process device identifiers, advertising ID, approximate location, ad interaction data, diagnostics, and related information according to Google's policies.

Users can control personalized ads through Android privacy settings and Google ad settings where available.
3. Notifications and Alarms
If enabled, NamazWaqt schedules local notifications and exact alarms for prayer and azan reminders. These reminders are generated on the device based on your selected location and settings.
4. Data We Do Not Request
- We do not require user accounts.
- We do not request contacts, photos, camera, microphone, or calendar access.
- We do not ask for passwords or payment credentials.
- We do not provide chat, social posting, or public profile features.

6. Children's Privacy
The app provides religious and utility content. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through third-party services, contact us and/or the relevant third-party service provider.
7. Deleting App Data
Most app settings are stored on the device. You can delete local data by uninstalling the app or using Android Settings → Apps → NamazWaqt → Storage → Clear Data.

8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy when app features, legal requirements, or third-party services change. The effective date at the top will be updated when changes are made.
